Central Tucson Short Term Rental

When my husband and I first moved back home to Tucson in 2021, we felt that it was essential that we buy a home as soon as possible. We had just sold our condo in Glendale, CA and wanted to take advantage of the low rates that were still a reality. Buying as quickly as we did is one of the best decisions we’ve made, as rates began to steadily increase nearly a few months later.

I didn’t have my real estate license at the time, so we used a local realtor referred to us by a friend. At first we wanted to buy a place that needed a little work so we could put our own stamp on it, but once we started searching we quickly realized that a ready to move in home was actually what we needed. Despite actively being against the “flipped” look (you know, gray floors and walls, basic everything) we ended up buying a historic home that was flipped by a major company in town because it fit our budget and still had some of its original charm. I may not love the gray carpets, but being a homeowner means doing the most with what you’ve got or swapping it out. For now, it works!

This home has served many purposes for us over the past few years. We’ve lived there ourselves, rented to family, and we’ve also rented it out as a short term rental. After a few significant long term stays, the Edison House as we call it (since it’s located on Edison Street 😉) is available again as a short term rental beginning on April 1st.

This 3 bd, 2 ba brick home located near Campbell & Grant in the Jefferson Park neighborhood sleeps 6 and is pet friendly! You’ll be close to the University of Arizona campus, Banner-UMC hospital, and countless local restaurants, coffee shops, and more. Every corner is decorated with Tucson and the southwest in mind — featuring work from local artists including a gorgeous backyard mural by Keegan Rider. When you stay at the Edison House, you’re staying at a home owned by locals who truly care about ensuring you have the best time ever in our hometown.
